Tom lost his battle to pulmonary fibrosis, while awaiting a lung transplant, at the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver.

He worked for DePuy Synthes in Monument for twenty-six years.

Tom was born on March 17, 1951 in Torrington, Wyoming to Roy and Agnes Vroman. Later, he was adopted by Frank and Mildred Martin.

He is survived by his son, Bryan (Robin) Martin; daughters, Carrie Martin (Sean) and Amy Martin; six grandchildren, Joshua Padilla, Rylee Martin, Mya and Ian Anderson, and Zack and Lillian Franklin; and his sister, Stevanna (Jack) Carter.

He is preceded in death by sisters, Ruby Gropper, Donna Hendricks, and June Kokosinski; and brothers, Richard Martin, Wesley Vroman, Gary Vroman, and Gerald Vroman.

His great loves were his family and his cabin. He gave to people and he helped people. He had so much love and kindness in him that made him truly one of a kind.

Memorial Service, 11:00AM, Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Monument Community Presbyterian Church, 238 Third Street, Monument, Colorado 80132.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tom's memory to UCHealth's Lung Transplant Program Fund (#13009), which can be mailed to UCHealth Hospital Foundation, 2400 South Peoria Street, #8, Aurora, Colorado 80014, or to the Pulmonary Unit at National Jewish Health by phone or mail at National Jewish Health, P.O.
