Robert Joseph Wynn was born in Kodiak, Alaska to Randolph and Elizabeth Wynn. Bob passed peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones, June 10, 2014.
Bob was a force of nature who was intensely loyal, dedicated, and giving. If he had it and you needed it, you had it. These traits were evident in his approach to life. He was an Eagle Scout and stayed active in Scouting.
"Jagger Bob" was an Army Special Forces Soldier and served in Vietnam. He exemplified the best, as evident in his awards and decorations. They include, but are not limited to: Special Forces Tab, Combat Infantryman's Badge, Expert Infantryman's Badge, Master Parachutist Wings, Pathfinder Badge, Air Assault Badge, Scuba badge, Drill Instructor Badge, Aircraft Crewman Badge, German Bronze Marksmanship, as well as German, Belgian and Greek Airborne Wings. His medals included Air Medal (x6), Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal (x6), National Defense Service Medal, RVN Campaign Medal, RVN Service Medal with 4 stars, and RVN Gallantry Cross with Palms.
Bob was a caring soul who was always there to give love and guidance to his family and friends. He passed on his abundant knowledge on to those willing to learn from his vast experience. An avid motorcyclist and dedicated member of the Special Forces Motorcycle Club and Special Forces Association, his energy and willingness to contribute to veteran's needs and the needs of the community were never ending.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father.
He is survived by his loving wife Stephanie, son Christopher and daughter Kelly, and brothers John and Thomas.
